Application
Trigonox® 279 is a peroxide formulation based on acetylacetone peroxide and tert butyl peroxybenzoate. Trigonox® 279 has specially been developed for the cure of unsaturated polyester resins at elevated temperatures in combination with a cobalt accelerator (e.g. Accelerator NL-49 PN = 1% cobalt). Application area for the cure system Trigonox® 279 plus a cobalt accelerator can be e.g. continuous laminating, resin transfer moulding, filament winding and centrifugal casting.
