Special chemical manufacturer Nouryon announced this year that it will invest in its production base in Ningbo, China to significantly increase the production capacity of organic peroxide products.

Through this investment, by mid 2024, the organic peroxide Perkadox at Nouryon's Ningbo production base will ® 14 and Trigonox ® The annual production capacity of 101 will double to 6000 tons. These chemical essentials will support the growing demand for various applications in regional and global markets, including hygiene products and non-woven textiles for healthcare, such as masks. Other applications include recycled plastics and various rubber products.

According to the introduction, Perkadox ® 14 and Trigonox ® 101 organic peroxides can be used to improve the performance of recycled polypropylene (R-PP). This will help customers use recycled plastic in applications that previously could only use native plastic.
