II. Packaging Guidelines for TBPB (CAS-No 614-45-9) (Based on United Nations Recommendations for the Transport of Dangerous Goods)

2.1 The maximum weight for individual packages should not exceed 25 kg (55 lb).
2.2 Use new containers made from high-density polyethylene that blocks light.
2.3 Optionally, container lids may include a Gore-Tex membrane to allow air flow while preventing leaks, though this is not mandatory.
2.4 Combined packaging must be tested and pass drop trials.
2.5 Stacking on pallets should not exceed three layers.
2.6 It is advisable to use packaging that is Level II or higher.

III. Key Temperature Information for TBPB (Illustrated with Trigonox C)

3.1 With a flash point of 96 degrees Celsius, standard TBPB (without low-flashpoint solvents) has a low risk of vapor flash ignition, making it relatively safe.
3.2 The Self-Accelerating Decomposition Temperature (SADT) is 63 degrees Celsius. This is the lowest temperature at which the chemical may undergo rapid decomposition over seven days, dictating that TBPB usually does not require refrigeration during summer maritime transport.
3.3 A storage temperature of 10-30 degrees Celsius is recommended. Keeping TBPB in a cool, dark environment minimizes quality loss and enhances safety in storage.
