As another year welcomes the Dragon Boat Festival, each zongzi leaf meticulously wraps our thoughts, while every grain of glutinous rice carries heartfelt sentiments. On June 7th, Evergreen Chemicals hosted the traditional cultural event "Zongzi Time, Sweetness Unlimited". Participants had the hands-on experience of making zongzi and took their creations home to share with family. Join us in drawing closer to the Dragon Boat Festival, feeling its presence, and immersing in the infinite charm of China's excellent traditional culture.

The HR department prepared essential materials like pre-soaked glutinous rice, zongzi leaves, red beans, peanuts, ropes, and scissors. Everyone showcased their skills in smoothing leaves, molding, filling rice, adding fillings, pressing, sealing, and tying, packing holiday blessings into each plump and adorable zongzi.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming expert zongzi makers— aunts who demonstrated the entire process and explained the techniques and precautions of zongzi making. As zongzi leaves fluttered through our hands and strings weaved back and forth, the aunts deftly rolled leaves into funnel shapes, filled them with rice, and tightly sealed them with fine ropes. Their skillful movements left everyone in awe.

The company utilizes a dual-agent curing system, which includes both "initiator" and "completer" curing agents. The "initiator" agent generates free radicals at lower temperatures to facilitate rapid gelation and heat release, activating the "completer" agent, which then ensures complete curing at higher temperatures, ultimately enhancing the mechanical properties of the finished products.
